Mike took Margie Haber's Cold Reading Workshop in West Hollywood in mid October 2008.  Margie is internationally known for her work teaching actors how to auditon for television and film roles.  She has had stars like Brad Pitt, Michael Eastman, Heather Locklear, Halle Berry, Traylor Howard, and Tom Arnold to name just a few.  She teaches students a phrase technique she created that allows auditioners to remain connected to their scene partner as well as connected to the life of the character.  She has a book entitled, How to Get the Part...Without Falling Apart".  Stars that were once not stars have been dramatically influenced positively by her individual help in working on auditions for major roles.  Mike says of Margie:  "I found Margie to be a no-nonsense kind of person.  A woman with so much experience that she can smell the falsehood of an actor trying to "play" a character in a second...even fine actors.  She was such a great influence, and it was a pleasure to learn from somebody with so much knowledge and experience in the industry.  I want to be learning from her again in the future...no doubt...as we don't have that caliber of acting coach in Michigan.
