The feature film shot on Super 16 by James Mann ("Cities of the Underworld" [History Channel]). The cast was comprised entirely of Michigan actors with the principle roles going to Gary Wagner, Russ Rox, Joey Euretta, and Lila Miller. The film editing is planning to be completed by Spring of 2009. The film will be premiered in Michigan in July 2009. Informal interviews of cast and crew can be viewed by clicking here. Filmed in the Troy area of Michigan from mid July-mid August 2008, Mike was cast as the lead role in a Los Angeles production company film (Rothgar Productions) called, "The Man Who Collected Food". Playing the role of a hermit that collects vintage packages of food, Mike was challenged to bring out the very dark sides of this complex and psychotic character, while appearing somewhat "normal" to his neighbors and family. Due to the fact that this man cannot eat any of his food collection because of it's "perceived value", he has to resort to cannibalism. Horror fans will be delighted with this brilliant script written by Director/Producer Matt Roth that is peppered with dark humor and off-the-wall hilarious characters.
